Marianne R. Saxton Obituary, LOGAN COUNTY, Ohio — Marianne R. Saxton, 63, of the State Route 559 address in Zanesfield, Ohio, was discovered dead in a pond on her property Tuesday night after Logan County deputies responded to a missing-person report.
Based on to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched at approximately 9:56 p.m. Tuesday, August 18, 2026, to 7782 State Route 559 in Zanesfield after receiving a account that a 63-year-old woman was missing from the property.
Upon arriving at the property, deputies began searching the area for Saxton. During the search, officials focused on a pond located on the property and discovered her in the water.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene, where Saxton was pronounced dead. Spokespeople have not released details regarding how long she may have been in the pond or what led to her loss.
